a space reimagined

Open from 6pm Wednesday-Saturday
Expanded hours coming soon
After a period of refinement and reimagining, the Chef's Table Lounge is reopening its doors with renewed energy and a menu as 'Twenty Eight Restaurant & Lounge' designed for the way people love to dine now, whether you’re popping in for a quick pour and a plate before dinner elsewhere, or settling in to make an evening of it.
Created with champagne, cocktails and classic wines firmly in mind, the new menu moves effortlessly between styles of drinking & dining. At its heart is a selection of seasonal small plates that retain the small plates focus of Twenty Eight—refined snacks designed to pair beautifully with a glass of bubbles or something shaken behind the bar.
For those staying longer, the menu opens out into a relaxed, multi-course experience that can unfold across the evening. Alongside the small plates are a few soon-to-be favourites: a double wagyu burger, fried chicken with caviar, and lobster frites when the mood calls for something indulgent yet approachable.
The atmosphere is designed to be equally versatile. It’s an ideal setting for a spontaneous midweek drink, a relaxed gathering with friends, or an intimate date night. Guests can also stop in for a drink before or after their meal at Chef’s Table and enjoy the space as an extension of the evening, or a standalone destination to drink and dine.
For the first few weeks, Twenty Eight will open Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm, with a series of rotating specials throughout the week. As the new chapter settles in, the space will gradually transition towards a full seven-day schedule.
With its blend of indulgent small plates, celebratory drinks and relaxed late-evening energy, Twenty Eight returns as both a familiar favourite and something entirely new—a place to drop in for a drink, share a few exceptional plates, or simply let the evening unfold.
